L'église est souvent fermée, mais si tu demandes la clé autour de toi, les habitants sont toujours heureux de la déverrouiller pour les pèlerins.

The Road

Entre ici et San Justo de la Vega, il n'y a pas d'installations, mais un petit kiosque tenu par des pèlerins fonctionne pendant les saisons les plus chargées. Juste avant la descente abrupte vers San Justo de la Vega se trouve le Cruceiro de Santo Toribio qui surplombe Astorga au loin. De ce point de vue, tu peux voir la cathédrale d'Astorga et le chapelet de villes qui parsèment le camino alors qu'il traverse les montagnes devant toi.

Un joyau caché ! Une hôtesse vraiment charmante pour nous accueillir dans un Albergue tranquille (avec un bon anglais). Seulement 5 km plus loin de l'Hospital de Orbigo & vous pouvez vous mettre en route vers Astorga plus tôt en séjournant ici au lieu de l'Hospital de Orbigo. Dîner disponible et petit-déjeuner à emporter. Joli espace extérieur pour se reposer et une excellente douche chaude. La nuit où nous avons séjourné, il y avait seulement 3 personnes dans tout l'Albergue. Beaucoup d'espace ici.

Attention à la meute de chiens avant le village, il y a environ 6 grands chiens qui vous harcèleront bruyamment

Après Santibanez et avant San Justo, c'était notre arrêt petit-déjeuner - tellement beau. Surtout après les collines inattendues.
Tout ce qu'on pourrait souhaiter & c'est Donotivo!

Bar Valle de Orbigo. Recently opened. Very pleasant and hospitable owner. Great service and very tasty food. Mad if you don't stop here.

After walking along the Camino trail along the highway all day, it was such a blessed moment to find this private albergue. I fell into my plush bed with a thick comforter and napped for 2 hours! The place is beautiful in its simplicity, clean and managed by a caring and friendly hostess. The home cooked meal of lentil stew was nourishing and delicious! Just lovely!

The owner is a true delight. She’s so sweet and truly takes care of her guests. She runs it with her sister. Super clean. Good pilgrim meal. Definitely the place to stay in this town.

This place is a must to stay , the owner that runs the place is such a tiny, sweet, bubbly person. She makes you feel comfortable right from the get-go. I would highly recommend this place and her chicken burgers are amazing stay for the hospitality, the quiet rooms, the clean place to sleep, and the great food, and always the smiling hostess.
