Entrar en la ciudad y salir de ella es sencillo. Hay una ruta alternativa señalizada que te lleva a través de la ciudad, más cerca del río.

Como ciudad, Redondela tiene sus encantos. Se encuentra bien al interior de la ría de Vigo y está atravesada por dos enormes puentes ferroviarios.

The Road

Al salir de la ciudad, el camino cruza la N550 en un cuello de botella en el lado norte de la ciudad que está repleto de tráfico a todas horas. Cruza la N550 en cuanto llegues a ella y, casi inmediatamente, gira suavemente a la izquierda por una carretera secundaria.

Las flechas desde aquí dejan un poco que desear. Están presentes, pero han sido pintadas con un spray de un amarillo no del todo correcto y, a veces, no parecen legítimas. Síguelas igualmente, y cuando te acerques a Cesantes, volverán los hitos de piedra.

Booked 12 lar de sefa last minute for an entire apartment and it’s fantastic! Beautifully decorated and very clean - washer and dryer, a great way to celebrate defeated the hill out of mos!

A wonderful place if you need an inexpensive hostal. Augusto is the proprieter. Big family room. Nice kitchen. In center of town. I can't believe my luck in having found it

We had a lovely meal here. We were surprised to be the only pilgrims there for two hours, full of locals out for dinner. Great vegetarian options and vegan ones too.

If you have time, take a walk along the beautiful path along the estuary. It’s on your left as you pass through the northern end of town. It’s mostly boardwalk for about 1.2km and takes in cute houses and fishing boats along the estuary. We saw nesting nesting swans. It’s really quite lovely and worth seeing. Gives you a whole other perspective of Redondela.
