Beautiful hotel but far from everything and adds to the Camino walk. No elevator to get to your room. Stairs are outside and steep and you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. No nearby restaurant and hostess is rude. Who wants to climb up and down outdoor stairs after a 12 mile Camino walk and carr luggage? I don’t

Next towns between Padron and Santiago don’t have many food options, as they are quite small. There is a nice pilgrim friendly cafe as you enter Faramello - if you can wait.

Before you book a room in Padron, check to see if there is a festival on during your stay. We got there on the day of an all-night techno rave which started at 01.00am. It was right outside our room which made it impossible to sleep. You might like that, but it made for a rough day walking the next day.

Little restaurant run by the rudest and surliest woman in Spain. Spend your money somewhere else

Good restaurant with a unique takeout concept. You choose cold pre-portioned meals from their fridge, and then you can take them away to eat at home or use their microwave/toaster in the restaurant and eat there. They have a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, and also offer drinks, bread/pastries, and other small snacks. Great option for an easy and cheap meal when you don't feel like cooking!

Excellent supper, not necessarily local food a mixture but it was very good, esp the nachos, everything fresh and delightful staff.
Went back for breakfast, recommend the salmon and avocado toast 👍👍👍

Scammer, charged 150% of what was advertised. Will only call 2 taxis and staff is rude.

If you stroll in Sunday afternoon before 4 pm you’ll be right smack dab in the middle of great farmers market!

Great hostel! The host is so kind and helpful. Whole place was clean and quiet.

The host recommended the restaurant O Alpendre—it was great! Be aware many restaurants are closed on Mondays.
