Påskedag afholdes Romería (en slags lokal pilgrimsfærd) til Santuario de Nuestra Señora del Perdón (navngiveren til altet foran, se historie nedenfor).

History

Hospitalisterne af Jerusalem (Malteserridderne) tog sig af pilgrimme mellem her og Alto de Perdón. Senere, da Tempelridderne forsvandt, overtog de også driften vest herfor i Puente la Reina.

Like other comments say, there are some restaurants but there is also a small grocery right next to La Parrillada which has mostly shelf stable goods and dairy products. But it’s good to pick up some stuff if staying in the Order of Malta albergue and you want to cook.

I enjoyed the authentic and cozy feel of kitchen.
The church can be opened by volunteer.

The hospital is where I had to stay . It hosts up to 6 pilgrims ages 60 and over. Wonderful place, $40 euro gets private room, soaps, towels, blankets, dinner and breakfast! I loved the hospital !!

It's uphill from Pamplona to Cizur Mayor and the hill continues up to Alta Perdon.

Accommodation half full tonight. Limited food options in town but a pilgrim menu available.

is very much open. It’s Sunday at 12pm and around 8 people here. Only breakfast available. Kitchen available. No shops in the small town but a couple bars/ restaurants are open in the day . Pilgrims mass at 6.30pm.

Camino de Sant…

The supermarket on the way was closed and had a sign saying liquidation on the door. It might be best not to rely on this one right now. Worth someone else’s opinion as it is currently a holiday period.
