This is a very nice and clean albergue with 36 beds split up into several rooms. There are three showers and two toilets. The owners are very nice and I understand their kitchen will open at 3: 30 PM. That is the only thing I did not like because I would like to make my own food, but we will see.
I feel that the review about the person getting food poisoning was unfair because they were walking in that extreme heat and could’ve picked up food poisoning anywhere along the route. Everything I have seen says this is a very clean and well kept place and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed there yesterday.
I had the Pilgrim Menu.at about 17.00 hrs....soup, chicken and fries and flan.
Nice soup, but the fries tasted odd, and I left most of them.
I think it was old cooking oil.
The chicken stew was ok, but it was just heated up.
Within an hour, I had nasty indigestion, which became more severe.
At approx 23.30 hrs, I rushed to the toilet where I vomited and had diarrhoea..
I had to go to the toilet five times during the night with diarrhoea.
I had zero sleep all night.
I spotted the manager in the cafe in the morning, but there were several people with him so I walked on without confronting him..
All in all, the worst albergue experience I have ever had, and I've walked multiple caminos.

I finally got through, some phone numbers do not seem to work not sure if it's a local issue(using Orange network)

Tried phoning their number 948 35 38 76 only to receive an automatic message stating number does not exist/ number has changed.
No response to my what's app message either.

Also some nice bacon and egg rolls, coffee, chocolate bars , hats and fruit . Nice find at the top of the hill. Has a WC as well

One of the comments from 2024 said this place was closed permanently. I just made a reservation for late April. So, maybe they were closed for the season.

I tried to book here, but on arrival, the doors were locked. Went along to the Pilgrim office, and a lovely young man informed me it was permanently closed.
