What a fabulous facility! Clean, great outdoor area, fantastic meal, everything you can hope for at the end of a day walking.

The best part of Hornillos was the pilgrim mass and blessing. The town is tiny and the food was okay. Stayed in the Municipal which was clean and comfortable. No dinner was provided and restaurants don’t necessarily open at the posted hours. Ended up eating at 8, which for us is late.
When we entered Hontanas the next morning we instantly regretted not having stayed there instead.

Cafe on left as you come into town - nicest man ever and the hugest crunchy roll I’ve ever eaten. Well worth a stop

The restaurant and albergue is new having opened less than a year ago. The beautiful sounds of relaxing music will draw you up the short walkway to both indoor and outdoor seating, bathrooms and delicious food. It is definitely an oasis. Don't miss it!

Don’t make the mistake of not filling up water. No services (or shade) until Hontanas

Please make the effort to walk to the end of the village to experience this fantastic place for lunch and/or dinner. Live music, unique vibe, great food and super friendly owner.

We had a wonderful meal with our Camino family. The proprietor is a kind gracious man. It is at the end of the town as you are walking out- this is a true gem in this small town!

There's a small convenience store that sells fruit and makes cheese or chorizo sandwiches. Has foot aid supplies, snacks, cold drinks, among a few other things. The male owner was very lively and friendly. They were open till 6:00 p.m. on the Friday we visited town. It is right across from Sol De a Sol hostel and shows up on Google maps.

I stayed at Casa de la Abuelo, which was clean and quiet. That evening, I went looking for a meal and wound up at Origen at the west end of town. Great food, lively energy, a lot of fun.

I needed a rest and splurged on a private room with en suite bathroom and shower (35 euros). Lovely!
