Based on the price (€31) I’m not sure I would recommend staying for pilgrims. It is modern and smells great, but the showers could be cleaner. There’s no washing facilities, just a line for drying, and only a microwave (no oven or stovetop) - despite an otherwise well-stocked kitchen. We also arrived and did the online check-in, but had to message for the codes to get in, and there was no staff present for the entire stay. This was likely due to it being a Saturday - but it was strange. There was also a club going somewhere nearby until 5:30am. The dorm beds offer decent privacy, but my bed was unfortunately not very comfortable. Overall it was okay - I just don’t think I’d pay this much to stay again.

A most warm and welcoming Albergue located near the pier. The host, Dimitri, could not have been more helpful and generous with his time with check-in and making sure guests were comfortable. The Hostel is very clean and the facilities are modern and the rooms are spacious. We highly recommend the Ola Vida as a must -stop along the Camino.
