Had a room of 5 , structured like a family room ( one double behind closed doors and 3 singles ( not bunks) ). It was clean and comfortable. Welcomed with candy, water , foot massage cream and 2 towels on the bed and a bowl of fruits in the dresser . Good room , would be back .
The bar and restaurant are good too .

When we arrived after 30 km on the Camino we received a lovely greeting with the hostess. She showed us to a lovely "matrimonial" room in the old hotel area. The room has a comfortable double bed and enough room to spread thing's from our backpacks. The entry door to our room opened into another room with three beds. We had to go through this other room to access or leave our room which was no big deal to us after staying at so many dorm style alburgues. The shared bathrooms were very clean with great hot water in the shower and good water pressure. The beer and wine choices at the bar were very good. They have onec washer and one dryer but we elected to handwash our clothes and hang them in the back that had a lot of racks to hang dry clothes. Ŵe arrived late to the alburge and all of the clothes drying racks were taken so we used the clothesline that we had in our packs. Dinner portions were very good for 12 euros and very tasty as well. It was interesting that wine was not included in the cost of dinner like most alburgues. We slept great in our matrimonial room that was very quiet. We bought their breakfast which ran us about 4 euros each for cafe, pastry and spanish tortilla.

We loved our stay at La Morena and would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely pod beds, made my stay few very private. The bathroom isn’t the greatest however (frosted glass for the shower doors with no locks). Good options in the restaurant (ask for the menu if you don’t like the look of the pilgrim options). Friendly staff, would recommend this for a restful private stay.

We stayed in 2018 and again in 2022. In 2018 the pilgrims menu was unique and far better than most of the offerings we found on the Camino. It’s what drew us back to La Morena in 2022. The food was more typical in 2022 and not outstanding like it was in 2018. Still a nice place to stay, but not enough to bring us back if we ever do another Camino Frances.
