Paládin offre una panchina e un'area di sosta ombreggiata, oltre a una fontana, la 'fuente lavadero la sierra', che si trova a 20 metri di distanza dietro una casa. Per raggiungere la fontana, gira a destra alla prima strada e poi di nuovo a destra all'ingresso della prima casa, quindi torna indietro.

Il cammino

Tra Paladin e Peñaflor camminerai con il río Nalón e i binari del treno sul lato sinistro. Attraverserai i villaggi di Puerma e Laracha. Peñaflor si trova sul lato opposto del fiume quando arrivi al primo ponte. Una volta superata la chiesa sul lato opposto del fiume, il Cammino lascia immediatamente la strada a destra per seguire le indicazioni in direzione della stazione ferroviaria di FEVE.

Pablo e Tatiana ci hanno accolto per nome e hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto divertente. Avevamo una camera condivisa con 6 letti e abbiamo dormito come bambini. C'erano 2 bagni a nostra disposizione, quindi non abbiamo mai dovuto aspettare. Le lenzuola erano stirate e pulite. Prendete la colazione poiché i gestori si sono impegnati al massimo per rendere il buffet della colazione vario e adatto a tutti. Non c'è da meravigliarsi se Pablo ci ha detto che aveva il miglior lavoro del mondo.

Albergo molto buono con i gestori Pablo e Tatiana che si preoccupano davvero dei pellegrini. Inoltre, hanno un grande senso dell'umorismo, quindi sono garantite molte risate esilaranti. La cena è piuttosto cara, ma è buona e l'intrattenimento fornito dai gestori è gratuito

Potrebbe essere più caro di altri alberghi, ma le camerate sono spaziose e confortevoli con bagni privati. È tranquillo in una posizione bellissima. I gestori sono gentili e molto accoglienti. Pablo è divertente! Il cibo è buono e abbondante, basta essere preparati a pagare un supplemento.

Bei amache sul fiume, dormitori spaziosi, un po' caro rispetto agli altri rifugi ma è bello ogni tanto.
L'unica cosa che direi è che mi piacerebbe avere un piccolo angolo cucina per preparare un po' di cibo o avere tè/caffè/zuppa istantanea quando vuoi

Rooms and bathrooms are clean, Pablo is welcoming. Arrived on a day the team were working at a local festival which maybe why things felt a bit disorganized. There is a coffee shop/ hot water machine that you pay for or order from the restaurant - no facilities to make your own drink etc. Pool was full of bugs, bin in outside space overflowing, tables needed wiping etc
The dinner menu was expensive for what it was - the quality of ours was very poor, the other 2 people who were there seemed happy with their choice.
Around 1.30am we were woken by doors slamming and lots of loud voices from the kitchen upstairs. This went on for a short while.
I wouldn’t stay there again due to price and poor quality of food.

Had a coffee on the way to Grado. Reasonably priced and very friendly people. They charge a small fee if you want to use only toilet but not getting food or drinks

I wanted to spend more time in Oviedo in the morning and not push all the way to Grado. So I chose to stay here. This is a very quiet hostel and I had an incredibly comfortable nights sleep for 20€. I loved waking up to the sound of the river. I was able to wash my clothes for 4€ in the washing machine, which was much needed! I would recommend having a hearty meal before coming here if you are a budget pilgrim. The restaurant is nice, but overpriced. If you’re not on a budget it’s really comfortable, but value for the dollar is less than in other places. I ate a delicious “complete salad” and arroz con leche for 14€. I enjoyed the host Pablo very much. He was kind and attentive.

Nice pool. Fantastic rest area behind the outside dining area whith restchair hanging over the streaming water. Just dip your feet in and relax.

And no problem to get out early in the morning. Ask the staff before you go to bed how to do.

The place is nice and welcoming. However, we had quite a challenging evening, night, and morning in the albergue. The dinner was served very late (at 21) and the breakfast also (at 9). The host seemed a little drunk and a guest got so drunk that he made noise during the whole and even fell out of his upper bed. In the early morning we wanted to escape but were not able to open the gate and thus had to crawl over the fence. This is hopefully a unique experience but still very unpleasant.
