Casa Avelina era assolutamente meravigliosa - è stata incredibilmente premurosa e mi ha portato della carne in più per il mio bocadillo (e persino biscotti gratuiti prima di partire). Era proprio l'amore e lo spirito di cui avevamo bisogno per finire una giornata piovosa sul Cammino in forze!

Finora la migliore esperienza del mio viaggio. Persone così straordinarie in questo bar magico. Anche se erano pieni, mi hanno trattato come loro stessa nonna. Hanno parlato con me e si sono assicurati che stessi bene. Avevano una birra straordinaria e enormi panini spagnoli. Hanno visto che non potevo finirlo e mi hanno portato della carta stagnola per avvolgerlo. La proprietaria mi ha dato uno sgabello per le mie gambe doloranti, e alla fine, non ha nemmeno accettato la mancia (L'ho lasciata di nascosto al banco, spero che le sia arrivata). Straordinaria, straordinaria, straordinaria.

Ci siamo fermati per un veloce panino e due birre. Ottimi panini comunque! (bocadilos?).

Comunque, poiché avevamo camminato per parecchio tempo, le mie gambe facevano male e ho vacillato verso una sedia. Questo ha spinto una delle gentili signore ad aiutarmi rapidamente a sedermi e a trovarmi uno sgabellino aggiuntivo per le mie gambe. Ha quindi procurato un sacchetto di ghiaccio e lo ha messo sotto le mie gambe.

Mi ha aiutato e sono ancora molto grato 🥹🥹

Carmen e Avelina sono il cuore del Cammino, 2 bellissime sorelle. Bellissimi panini grandi! Il caffè è pieno di ricordi. Le signore vogliono solo prendersi cura di te e assicurarsi che ti diverta. Fermati, siediti e rilassati! Carmen assolutamente non accetterebbe più di 1€ di mancia. 2 belle anime!!

Ho fatto una piccola colazione composta da una pasta al cioccolato e un tè. Ho preso un bocadillo con atún y queso da asporto. La donna lì si è presta cura di me e mi ha aiutato ad asciugare i miei vestiti. Pioveva molto. Era molto gentile. Ha avuto anche l'idea di prendere la lattina di tonno a parte invece di metterla già nel bocadillo. È stata un'ottima idea e più tardi ho gustato il mio bocadillo con atún y queso.

If you can, stop there!

To show you how great these women are: when i was there it was buzzing - many many people were coming in, shouting, eating, asking questions. I did have a Coke but had not paid for it yet. Since there were so many people, i left a 5€-note underneath the empty can. Thought of it as a donativo for the great work. I was walking for a least 15min (into the woods) when a local police car came up behind me. In the passenger seat sitting was one of the ladies. She stopped me, asked if i had left the note. When i said yes, it was a donativo, she said no. She said she was sorry that they didnt pay attention to me. And then she gave me the change! Would not take it back. This woman found someone who had seen me, convinced a police man to drive her after me for 3,50€! Then the car turned around and i was again on me way.

If you go, tell her the 5€-girl from Berlin says hi :)

I have to admit. The older lady is a lovely person and very helpful.
Good coffee, a huge bocadillo and she offered me an extra footstool to rest my legs.
I feel very welcome and enjoyed my breakfast.

There is a nice little bar here with two old ladies running it, but don't be fooled of their disguises. They are angels waiting for the weary travellers.

We were dripping wet and the two ladies welcomed us and made wonderful bocadillos for us, wrapped a jacket around my cold friend and took such wonderful care of us. Fantastic place.
