They were very nice and the albergue was kept clean. The most fun part was the communal dinner with Galician dance afterwards. Also a nice garden to relax, with sunbeds right next to a huge drying rack for your clothes

Hosts were so friendly and fun! Loved the group dinner and interaction. Showers were wonderful. Loved the group sitting areas both inside and two areas outside. Laundry was reasonable and great place for hanging it up. Spectacular fuse, I couldn’t find anything negative to say this place is gem, so glad we stayed here! Bunks were comfortable and everything was so clean!

Just superb, Miguel and Lola are doing a fantastic job. Warm and friendly atmosphere, very comfortable and well laid out. Power sockets and shelving next to each bunk, hot showers and great dinner experience with enthusiastic staff.

They just went the extra mile, always smiling and helpful, like it was no effort at all! Highly recommended. Every space was welcoming and the facilities were great.

The hospitaleros make you feel welcome and cared for right away. All the basic boxes are checked. But it offers more than most albergues.

There is a relaxing lounge area, with soft music, comfortable upholstery and other amenities. Very relaxing. The communal dinner was delicious and served with care and fun. We enjoyed the music and dancing after the meal.

This family knows how to design a relaxing space for pilgrims. New dorms with all the amenities!! Multiple washers and dryers. Huge outdoor area, well stocked bar and delicious goodies. One of my favorite dinners on the Camino — beautiful huge dining room with good food. Great breakfast options. Lovely owners. They employ all the locals. Highly recommend!!

Food was excellent, and very typical of Galicia. Don’t skip the local cheese w/chestnuts and honey for breakfast in the AM. The dorm was large, but spacious, and every bed has a shelf and a plug. Lots of outside space to chill, and a big living room to chill if weather isn’t ideal. Was glad I stayed here instead of O Cebreiro.

I stayed here last September.
The albergue is okay but nowhere near my best.
I found the food to be no better than average.
Some people enjoyed the touristic dance after the meal.
The piped music was Scottish military bagpipe music, which was odd.
Galicia has a proud tradition of their own pipe playing.

The previous Hospilatera‘s daughter has taken over the reins and is doing a marvelous job!
This was our 5th stay. The common bunk room and most recently the Deluxe Twin Suite. As great as it sounds.
Boot drying closet !! Washers and dryers.
The dinner menu has been the same for the past 10 years for a good reason. It is delicious and filling (vegetarian option too). Santiago cake and always some kind of lively dancing at the end of the meal.
Do NOT miss a chance to reserve and stay here.
One of our top 3 albergues since 2018.

The owners truly took care of the place. Clean and cotton bedsheets and pillow case. Every bed has an electric plug! Hot shower. Dinner was great for a minimal price you will enjoy. Had fun with music and impromptu dance by the staff with pilgrims. It’s a fun Albergue with some amenities.. the little things that take your weary and tired self.. sofa, foot massage machine, and reading corners. Love this place!!
