The space for pilgrims is really well designed and even though the showers are a bit cold and cramped, it is a beautiful hostel. The host has a shop at reception and a washing machine that he will run if you pay him

The patio and shady grounds are great for lounging after a long day on the Camino. The only real drawback I perceived was cramped space in the kitchen/dining area and showers that lacked easily accessible hooks and doors. Neither were overly bothersome for me, as I had a great stay and found the manager to be friendly and welcoming. If you have the energy for it I’d encourage inquiring about the tour of the archeological site. Really neat and was arranged by manager who contacted the nearby research center.

A very cute and cosy alburgue with a nice atmosphere but quite dirty in the private room. Hair all over the bathroom floor that floats up onto your feet even in things when you’re showering.

I found this albergue very cute. It is all handmaid. Under that exterior….the bathroom was disgusting and the blanket for my bed (and both of my traveling companions) smelled like urine. This is my 2nd Compton and the first time the facilities were this nasty.

Most beautiful albergue!
Everything is handmade, even the window frames.
Madress good.

This albuerge / hostel is so beautiful! If you like craftsmanship, you have to see this house. Little shop, little common kitchen. Perfect to cook together and enjoy the camino spirit.
A oasis on the way!

I really enjoyed this albergue with an artistic touch, a nice pellet stove to keep you warm, curtains for your bed to add privacy, a nice stocked up kitchen and a small tienda if you need to but some food. Stop there!

so beautifully crafted and well cared for. comfortable beds with individual lights, outlets and privacy curtains. waterfall showers with hot water. well equipped kitchen. we were able to buy basic ingredients from the owner to cook dinner, there were limited restaurant options and no grocery store in this town. i would definitely stop at a store before coming into town if you want to make something nicer for dinner.

would love to stay here again!

I love this hostel, the curtains to provide some privacy on the bunks and the rollout drawers underneath makes such a difference. Throw in some shelves, lights and PowerPoint in each cubicle for charging, and it shows a level of care that they’ve taken to set it up. It is incredibly cute and would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. They have a kitchen upstairs so you can prepare your own food if you need to.
