Siamo arrivati presto perché avevamo avuto un lungo viaggio per arrivarci.
L'ospedaliero ci ha sgridati perché eravamo "giovani" e dovevamo camminare di più.
Ci ha detto che non potevamo entrare fino alle 16. Che sapevamo già. Ma era scortese al riguardo.
Una volta aperto il luogo, arrivarono le signore insieme al "jefe".
Era di nuovo condiscendente e sgradevole. Ci parlava (una famiglia di 4) come se fossimo bambini. "Questo non è un ostello, è un albergue per pellegrini" e poi si è seduto a bere fino alle 22 con un gruppo di spagnoli. Facendo molto rumore.
Il cartello dice 14 persone, ne dorme 13.
Trattano gli stranieri come spazzatura. I locali come oro.
L'acqua è spenta fuori.
Docce "solo nel pomeriggio"
Trip di colpa donativo.
Se puoi possibilmente evitare questo posto, dovresti. La città è bella. Ma il ragazzo che gestisce questo posto è assolutamente……

Siamo arrivati presto perché avevamo il jet lag ed era un fine settimana di festa con opzioni di alloggio limitate. Arrivati alle 10:30, l'ospite è uscito e ci ha detto di continuare a camminare un'altra ora fino all'albergo 12 tribes, e abbiamo detto che saremmo stati felici di aspettare fino alle 16:00 per l'apertura. Ha alzato gli occhi al cielo e ha sbattuto la porta. Di nuovo scortese al check-in. Rubinetto dell'acqua spento fuori fino alle 16:00. Ha rifiutato altri camminatori perché non avevano credenziali. Solo 13 letti quella notte perché avevano un amico in visita. Parlava un inglese limitato. Trattava le persone spagnole molto più gentilmente (hanno ricevuto coperte vere) mentre noi abbiamo ricevuto solo foglio e federa monouso. Chiudono a chiave le porte durante la notte dalle 22:00 alle 07:00, quindi devi aspettare di essere fatto uscire la mattina. Soggiorno su donazione (non sono sicuro del perché non siano più gentili poiché le persone darebbero donazioni migliori). Aveva wifi e docce calde comunque.

Por segunda vez ruego que cambien los núm. de teléfono del albergue Santa Ana de Pasai Donibane en el Camino del Norte, los que anuncian ya no son operativos. El actual es: 676 519 309.

Very nice and the couple who run the albergue helped us with laundry and made sure we had blankets to stay warm,

it was a blessing to find space at this hostel after a very tough first day. we got there around 12pm and were the 8th and 9th in line. we had to wait 4hrs to be admitted and the tap outside was turned off, unfortunately.

if you are past #14 in the line, don't wait. if you have a tent, there MAY be space in the garden, but the 14 beds is strict. No kitchen and the nearest shop is like 8min downhill

Clean, well run, able to wash cloths by hand and lines to dry.

It can be difficult to locate!! When your app ‘states you are here’ you will see 57, on the other side of the walkway is a stairwell, go up the stairs, after two flights you will see entry to two homes, you still need to proceed up many more stairs to the top, which is the Albergue. The volunteer was helpful. Good experience.

My first stop on my Camino. There is a strange rule here: no noise til 7 am, so I had to stay in bed an hour after I woke up. No kitchen or facilities for eating. Very limited space.

I passed by here on March 21st. Albergue was closed.
I stayed in the beautiful pension just on the harbour in same little town. A little expensive, but just beautiful, and including breakfast.
