Now 15 euros for a bunk bed in one of two large mixed sex dorms. Has kitchen but no cooker, just a very small microwave.
Does not provide breakfast but does leave out some coffee tea and sugar so you could make yourself a black coffee in the morning. But is very central to the old town.
Check out by 8:30am and check in 2:30pm.

Its is a few doors down from the Pilgrim Office so you get familiar real quick with others. If you’ve never stayed in a hostel it’s the perfect one to give you an idea of what you’re in for. Staff is nice and helpful. Only 3 bathrooms and 3 showers for about 30 bunks so wake early!

The market and bars are only about a kilometer away. Breakfast is meager so hit the market before bed. But for 12€ you cannot complain. The beds and bunks are comfortable and they provide liners if needed. I spent 14€ and the market for dinner & breakfast that I stored in the fridge. If you’re coming during busy season make a reservation if you can!

Super friendly and professional hospitalero, can’t beat the price, breakfast included. Buy an extra bocadillo the day you arrive and add jam and butter in the morning.

A great place to stay. Ax, the host was really friendly and welcoming. Comfortable rooms and the location is perfect.

Richard, who is Hospitalero at the albergue de Peregrinos, is a diamond. His calm energy and care for pilgrims is the best example of how to carry out this role and of how to treat other people on the Camino and in life generally. He is originally from Peru and speaks English, French and Spanish fluently.
This is my 4th stay here and his approach has always been the same. If he can do anything to help, he will, and his attitude towards pilgrims is, genuinely, to make them feel at home in the Albergue. There is no rush to leave in the morning, you’re free to have your breakfast at leisure, and breakfast is provided gratis within the all-inclusive 12€ bunk-bed and disposable sheet price.
When I offered to donate something towards the cost I was told “No, that’s not necessary, we provide it because we want to.”
The Albergue is in a great location at the top of town, within walking distance of a big Carrefour supermarket and the train station. It has a wonderful view over the town and is fully equipped with microwave, kettle, fridge, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery, general seating/dining area and small garden (washing line) and outdoor seating too.
Already looking forward to visit number 5 :-)

Camino de Sant…

I've stayed with Andrew twice now and really look forward to meeting him again next year, God willing. His hospitality and beautiful Alberque with its warm atmosphere and comfortable beds is super clean throughout lovely breakfast to sustain the intrepid pilgrim's for the climb ahead.
