The Road

Le camino monte doucement jusqu'au village, passe dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre autour de l'église, et descend la colline à gauche et passe devant l'albergue. Il passe sous l'A-66 avant d'arriver à Aljucén.

I ran out of water midday and found lots of townspeople here to help me. 4 men drinking wine playing cards on patio, couple women catching up at bar. Then when I left a man with camera took my picture for the newspaper! What an adorable place!

This sparkling new Albergue is everything you want. Spacious, fabulous hot shower, clean with washing/drying machine and kitchen facilities. Great cafe right next door. Highly recommended

This is a really lovely albergue with a cafe that does a good menu del día next to it. Run by a very friendly lady and set in a pretty isolated village - perfect if you’re after some peace.
