Go through the underpass. Do NOT turn right like the Camino sign says. Go straight for about .3 miles/.6km. You will come to a paved road. Turn right.

You will walk along a road for about 4km. Eventually you will come to a stop sign and another road. Turn right.

Go up a slight incline. Before the bridge crossing the highway, this is where the Camino intersects. Take a left - do not cross the bridge.

It’s lot quieter (and Brierly says it’s 1km less) then following the highway.

Brierly’s book talks about the old Camino route which continues straight instead of turning right at the 22.953 marker. It is allegedly shorter, not along the highway, and can be seen on the offline maps section in this app. Buen Camino!
