En traversant San Justo, gardez un œil sur un bar sur la gauche appelé Bar Oasis. Il dispose d'une entrée en coin, d'un baby-foot, d'un sol jonché de détritus et de la MEILLEURE tortilla de toute l'Espagne. C'est aussi la tortilla la plus épaisse et il ne faut pas la manquer si tu as faim. Le propriétaire et sa femme sont de grands voyageurs et de grands bavards.

I am sitting in the Bar Oasis even as I write. The tortilla was better than I expected, with just a hint of “picante”, and the coffee is just as good. It was well worth the wait for a late breakfast.

We stayed at Hostal Juli in a private room and while it was perfectly suitable, you can hear every single noise in the building as if it’s in your room. It’s extremely noisy all night. If you have the extra 4km in you I’d suggest staying in Astorga for a good nights rest.

Took the advice about this place. I was not disappointed. Lovely tortilla. 👌 With café con leche, €3, very reasonable! Authentic Spaniards having out inside. Nice cafe!

Keep walking past the first bar and go to Bar Oasis...not much further. And, the tortilla is the best so far!

What a find… one of the best single rooms to date and half the price of nearby Astorga…easy walk in or a quick taxi for a bit of sightseeing, or like me if returning to the Camino… a quiet comfortable chillout…

Maria runs one the most happy, welcoming place.
We asked for her help- our electric bikes needed charging. She took us in, made coffees, fruit smoothies. Maria’s English is also very good. We had a tonne of fun! Thank you Maria!!!!

This bar is an oasis. Pretty packed for a Tuesday morning but the beers were cold and the tortilla spicy!

It IS a VERY tasty tortilla! 😊 it has sautéed peppers in it so it has a very slight bite to it - just enough to tingle the tongue. Delicious!
