The Road

Vandringen langs floden afbrydes af en stor motorvej og tilhørende rundkørsler, men så snart man har passeret dem, er man tilbage på stien.

Lovely modern gastropub was open as I came through at 9AM. Their brownies were not exactly cheap (€3.50) but were exceptionally good and welll worth the stop. They also have bathrooms that are much nicer than the public ones around the corner.

A fascinating recreation of historic elements of village life that you somewhat stumble upon after the amazing river and stone walk. Cafe and toilets by the entrance were very closed when we passed (8 May 23).

Camino de Sant…

This place is new, large, and gorgeous. Extremely gracious owner/servers… We just order coffee and they brought a snacks to eat, also. Oh, and those last 3 1/2 miles we walked through the route of stone and water are my favorite on the whole Camino Portugues.

Keep walking a bit and stop at Bar Peneira. Super kind people there. I ordered 2 things and they offered 4!
