O Milladoiro er Santiagos største forstad, og snart vil du få dit første glimt af katedralen. Caminoen går gennem den bagerste del af byen, så man undgår den travle hovedvej med de massive boligblokke.

The Road

Det voksende netværk af motorveje omkring Santiago betyder, at du kommer til at krydse og zigzagge et par gange, før du når bygrænsen. Der er endda et par tilfælde, hvor nye camino-sten står ved siden af gamle camino-sten, der peger i hver deres retning. Man kan vælge mellem "Santa Marta" og "Conxo", og her er det bedste og mest direkte valg "Santa Marta", eller til venstre.

I absolutely loved my stay in the albergue. It felt more like a very good hostel with fluffy white towels and very friendly and helpful staff :) the place is clean and spacious.
It's also the perfect distance from Santiago if you need a break and want to arrive fresh in the morning.
Also this whole place smells like wood, I love it.

The El Rincón Siciliano, across the road from the PAYRO Hotel is a real gem. They make among the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and the Tiramisu, made by Francesco, the super-friendly waiter, is fabulous. An absolute MUST.

Hotel PAYRO is friendly, clean and an honest option for the price they charge. It’s good location allows for a short last leg into Santiago with energy to spare to walk around and enjoy the city for the rest of the day.

I definitely agree with previous reviews that it is a new clean comfortable albergue well equipped and worth mentioning is a very nice common space with a fireplace books - a comfortable place to sit together, think or talk…

Nice, new, clean albergue. Very good beds, great shower. Nice and cosy kitchen.
