Hvis du vil undslippe den travle vej et stykke tid, skal du holde til venstre i starten af byen og følge pilene gennem landsbyen. Det gør ikke turen længere, men sparer dig for 500 meter af vejen.

Når man kommer til Puente de Villarente, er det nu broen, ikke floden, der udgør den største trussel for pilgrimme. Sørg for at følge pilene før vejbroen, de vil lede dig hen til en mindre fodgængerovergang, som er meget mere sikker.

Which is that small organic cafe mentioned earlier. The owner makes the GF bread and deserts and grows her veggies and fruits. She speaks good English and makes/sells jewelry as well.

Right before the large bar Casablanca you will see a small cafe with a sign “free rest area”.
This place is run by a woman who offers only organic, excellent, clean eating food.
Her coffee was great too.
And she was open at 8.
Highly recommend !!!

There is a sign for a bar that takes you into town. The center plaza with the yellow dots was worth it!

There is a little cosy cafe in front of the church. Really nice. Good coffee and food. April 2022. It opens at 6.30. JK
