When leaving town follow the way as marked for about 700 meters from the bar. Look out for an unmarked track on the left that takes you under the the main road - follow this all the way to Benavente, it’s a beautiful walk and much quicker than the way the waymarkers take you. Tge Wise Pilgrim map has the first bit of this track right but then suggests turning off the track to the right. Just follow it straight, all the way to Benavente - it’s a delightful walk and joins up with the waymarkers when you walk into town in Benavente. The bar owner told us about this.

Confirming it is Monday they are closed. Go to the bar to access the albergue. You can book also book this one on booking.com . They do dinner at the bar and offer a decent menu. Also do breakfast if you hang around till 9am. No shop in town. Albergue was 14€ and has a kitchen but you will need to bring all your own food or eat at the bar.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here. Absolutely fine - nice hot shower and comfy bed. Bar does dinner and breakfast.
