I reached the albergue in extreme heat. The route runs alongside roads and through small villages.
The albergue is very run-down. Very old, poorly maintained. Well, what can you say for €4.
You get the key from 5:00 PM next to the grocery store.

I wouldn’t recommend this route. Road is busy and pavement runs out to a hard shoulder. I was the only pilgrim in the Gama Albergue. It was locked up but I went to the pub next door for the key. I locked myself in for the night! Key should be put through door of Tabac shop in the morning. May 2024.
