The Road

Der Camino wird dich bald in Sichtweite von Portomarín bringen. Du kommst auch durch die Stadt Vilachá, bevor der ziemlich steile Abstieg ins Tal des Río Miño und über die moderne Brücke nach Portomarín beginnt.

Der Camino in die Stadt führt über die neue Brücke. Die alte Brücke ist die meiste Zeit unter dem Fluss versunken, aber am Ende des Sommers taucht sie wieder auf, wenn der Wasserstand sinkt. Wenn du die Treppe hochgehst und die kleine Kapelle durchquerst, bist du schon fast in der Stadt. Es geht noch ein bisschen weiter bergauf.

There is a table laid out for tea and coffee. Fill the kettle with water and brew up. Donation tin provided. Wonderful!

I wanted to reserve a private room there yesterday for the end of May. I was only offered a room with dinner for €50 per person!! So the double room should cost 100€/night, a far cry from 47€. Then I decided not to make a reservation.

I had a great night here last night. The owners daughter prepared us a lovely dinner. She served and then joined us for dinner and shared in wonderful conversation. By far this was one of my favorite alberges.

Stayed here, you must paid 30€,it's including dinner, looks like very expensive, but when I reached here, every thing so amazing, you should stay here .
This alb is my favorite so far.

I took the alternative path to portomsrin and it was also steep down then followed road to the bridge so I’m not sure there is much between the options!
