Barbadelo, so klein es auch ist, beherbergte einst ein Kloster im Jahr 874. Die heutige Kirche stammt aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und hat mehrere hochwertige Skulpturen, darunter die in das Nordportal geschnitzten Tiere. Sie befindet sich 50 m vom Camino entfernt auf der linken Seite und ist ausgeschildert.

Good stay. Assigned bed. Two showers and one bathroom per bunk room. Pool area for use. Lots of laundry lines. Restaurant has good pilgrims meal for 14€. Good breakfast prices. Breakfast starts at 6 am. Lots of souvenirs to purchase for really good prices. Nothing else in village to eat but here.

€12, such a lovely upmarket albergue felt like a hotel. 8 beds in room with 2 showers and a toilet each. clean swimming pool, bar area, dinner, washing (machine or self). lovely stop

A wonderful escape from Sarria and only 3-4 kms extra. It was a 33 degree day in June and they had a fabulous swimming pool. Seemed more like a resort. Lots of private room or dorm beds around Euro 15.
Cafe/ bar open all day which is perfect, menu del dia great value and excellent food !
The grounds are well cared for which is unusual in Spain, beautiful gardens.
Hand your washing in at the bar and done for Euro 3 in 30 mins and lots of clotheslines .
Because it was so very hot everyone sat out in the evening watching the goats!
