The Road

Am Ortsende befindet sich die Avenida Da Libertade. Biegen Sie hier rechts ab, um zur Albergue zu gelangen, oder gehen Sie geradeaus entlang der Standpromenade. Die Pfeile sind spärlich, aber einige weisen den Weg zum Castro di Sampaio.

Make sure to arrive before 4pm as they are fully booked pretty quickly. Staff was adding additional fold-out beds to accommodate late arrivals. We were told the coastal route is becoming more and more popular but is not yet equipped for the increasing number of pilgrims so they advised to make bookings in advance for other places.

April 14, 2024 - Albergue S. Tiago is open and has been renovated. Currently 15 euros for a dormitory bed. Everything seems clean and the staff are helpful. Disposable sheets and pillow covers are provided.

Meine Frau und ich waren an der Küste unterwegs und haben dann hier spontan um Unterschlupf gebeten. Sehr netter junger Mann hat uns dann gesagt daß er noch ein Plätzchen finden würde. Er hat uns ein kleines Zimmer mit Bett untergebracht für nur ein paar Taler wirklich top

Camino de Sant…

I stayed at Casa Da Praia which was excellent as a quiet space, somewhat expensive (59 eu) but if split with a buddy a double room isn’t too bad. There is a kitchen, an outdoor area / table and included breakfast. Close to the way, and very clean. Quiet once everyone is in bed, and a shared bathroom (one shower only) which is suffice given that the house is quite small.
