Camino de Sant… (não verificado)

The hostel was really nice and clean and had great facility’s. The owner asked if we wanted dinner and we said yes which she replies saying she would ring the restaurant and if they were not open she would cook and if they were open we would have to go there. She booked us a table in the restaurant which was a 15 min walk from the hostel (hard after a long day of walking) but the restaurant did not have a menu and very limited English (not too much of an issue). The menu was presented to us via Google translate and only had 2 options. The food was fine but the price was ridiculous. €32 for chips and a pork dish for 2. I would recommend going to a different restaurant if the owner of the hostel is not cooking.

We were made to feel very unwelcome here: server was impatient with our best efforts to order coffee - we wanted food too but didn’t bother as she was so rude - and later she mimicked us speaking English. Try the first cafe as you enter town instead.

Stayed at Casa da Azinhaga with wonderfull host Helena. Not the cheapest but worth every Euro. Very helpfull, friendly and generous. I would advice to make her hostel a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ accomadation. Helena: keep up the great work you’r doing.

Camino de Sant…

Probably the hardest bit of road walking we have encountered with lots of cars and trucks between 7am and 9am along this 7km road from Azinhaga and Golega with very little shoulder. We felt so exposed between the traffic and a one and a half to two meter ditch. Hopefully they will find a better way!

Camino de Sant…

Horrible road between azinhaga and golega! Cars going 70km an hour and huge trucks. If you can get a lift to bypass this section, I would. On the other hand the mayor of Golega stopped his car to welcome me to town! :D
