The village has a bar and a hotel with restaurant (apparently does a pilgrimage meal which I’m going to have later).

The albergue is lovely. Definitely to be recommended unless you have a cat or dog allergy (there are two lovely old dogs and a ginger cat who roam around the premises).

Contrary to previous comment. Alberque has two rooms with at least 30 beds. Very good and great host!!

Nice Albergue, small with only one room with beds. Sheets, blankets, free washing.
You can buy tea, coffee, juice for (high) prices. Non of the restaurants close by had food, but there was one small store where you can buy food for the microwave.

When you book over booking.com it’s more expensive. Just pay at the Albergue

We had to make our way back to Santullan as Castro-Urdiales on a Saturday in August is literally fully booked and the albergue is very small, and was already full at midday. Coming back here turned out to be a great choice; the host is super nice and the facilities are 10/10! There’s way more than 14 beds - more like 30, and there were tents in the garden.
