Camino de Sant…

Casa de Balea is an exceptional place to stay. It is right on the Camino in Corcubion. Very close to many restaurants and shopping. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The ocean view from every floor is breathtaking. Breakfast is large and delicious and at 5 euros is a bargain. Attention to every detail for a great stay is obvious. But the most incredible part of our stay was the innkeeper. My husband became gravely ill and needed to be hospitalized during our visit. The innkeeper was kind and concerned beyond measure. She called the ambulance for me, drove me to the hospital, brought a hot meal to the hospital, extended our stay at Casa de Balea, cancelled reservations in Finisterre and luggage transfer service for us, and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Her kindness made all the difference in the world in an otherwise terrifying situation. As far as we’re concerned, Casa de Balea is an ideal place to stay!
