O quarto e a cama eram limpos, mas o quarto era muito frio porque o radiador geral da parede não estava ligado. O quarto tinha um aquecedor portátil, mas não era grande o suficiente para aquecer todo o quarto à noite. Como resultado, tirei o cobertor de inverno que estava guardado em uma caixa de plástico e o usei. Infelizmente, na manhã seguinte, descobri que tinha 4 picadas no pescoço. Não tenho certeza se eram picadas de pulgas ou de percevejos. Meu marido que dormia na mesma cama não foi picado. Então suponho que foi o cobertor de inverno o culpado, já que eu era a única que o usava. Não acho que foi a cama, então sem infestação.

A pousada também tem muitas regras e está espalhada por todas as paredes. Usamos um jardim para comer alguns lanches durante o dia, mas o encontramos fechado na hora do jantar. É um lugar limpo e conveniente para ficar, mas por causa de tantas restrições, não se sentia muito acolhedor.

After a sleepless night in an Albergue last night I decided to stay at O Castelo. The lady in charge was very kind and offered payment in cash or card. This place is spotless and so far very comfortable . I asked her for help in getting a taxi to take me to Albergue is booked for tonight(and cancelled) but my back pack had been sent there. Instead of helping me with a taxi she organised her husband to go and pick up my backpack pack and bring it here. I highly recommend staying here. Hostel is on the way and there’s a nice church close by for pilgrims mass if your interested. Just down the road you have cafes, supermarket and specialty shops (food).

This albergue was very nice. We had a 4 bed room with bath (no bunks). Laundry facility tiny and limited drying space. The tricky part was the host. She checked us in, took our cash and virtually vanished. We had many questions and needed bag transfer and she was no where to be found. Disappointing.

Camino de Sant…

CASH ONLY. Climb up stairs. Free coffee and tea. Nice kitchen. Has terrace. Friendly staff. Had a private room with a shared bath and in my room I actually have a little sink as well room is about 11x13. Twin bed. Clean and I have my own balcony with a hanger to dry my clothes on. I haven't seen the bathroom shower yet.
