Cheguei 3 minutos depois das sete depois de uma mensagem pouco amigável perguntando se seria pontual. Ele estava ocupado vendendo vinho a um peregrino. Portanto, meus últimos metros apressados tinham sido desnecessários. Quando chegou a minha vez, recebi toda a bronca: que eu estava atrasado e que não teria havido cama para mim durante a alta temporada. Senti-me tratado como uma criança pequena... A localização é realmente bonita, as áreas comuns são agradáveis, mas não achei as instalações sanitárias muito limpas e as camas realmente espremidas juntas. Deu-me a sensação de um gananciador.

Depois de um longo dia de caminhada, cheguei um pouco antes das 19h00.
O proprietário Manuel não foi muito acolhedor, até um pouco irritado. Não me senti bem-vindo. O local é espartano e há demasiadas camas nos quartos pequenos.

Sólida quinta antiga com vistas para pastagens, vale e colinas em frente, vistas deslumbrantes, alojamento aconchegante. O proprietário Manuel é um velho rude que cuida muito bem dos peregrinos. Boa cozinha, traga a sua comida, Manuel vende cerveja e vinho, mas comprei uma garrafa agradável na vila antes, onde há dois pequenos mercados.

Local bonito. Apenas com vista para a montanha, então traga comida consigo. Tem tábuas de lavar se quiser lavar a sua roupa.

Absolutely beautiful setting on a hill looking out at mountains. There is a terrace to sit and enjoy the view.

As others have noted, it is wise to prepare your food beforehand and bring it with you. However, if you didn’t prepare anything, Manuel had a packet for sale with everything you need to make spaghetti and tuna. It cost €5. There is also a vending machine in the kitchen with snack foods and drinks including Coke and beer and some microwave meals. The kitchen has everything you need to cook - fridge, microwave, stove, oven, pots and hot water kettle.
Amenities are basic but sufficient. There are disposable sheets and pillowcases and a blanket on each bed.
Note that bicycle storage is not allowed.

Probably one of the best albergue I've been to so far.

First of all, Manuel, the host, is very nice and accommodating. He is very dedicated into making the albergue feel like home for pilgrims.
Don't hesitate to talk with him, he really has great things to say about the place!

Then, the place itself is quite big, it can host many pilgrims. It's located in a quiet hill away from the city and offers a gorgeous view on the mountains.

There are plenty of showers and toilets and it's clean.
There is also a kitchen with all you need to eat and cook. Just be aware that there was no pan when we were there, so if you need to boil pasta for example you need to bring your own.

There are tables in different places and even a very comfortable couch outside, it invites pilgrims to socialize together, but if you feel more like introspective, you'll find cozy and quiet places as well.

To summarize, it's a cozy place with a lot of character and I definitely recommend stopping there for the night!

In the green countryside, spartiate if you need a lot of confort but authentic camino experience with lot of room. All it's here thanks to the volunteer Manuel who take care of this place since 15 years.
