많은 사람들이 산티아고로의 마지막 구간이 더 짧기를 원하지만, Quinta das Maceiras에 머물기 위해 마지막 날 24km를 가는 것은 그만한 가치가 있었습니다. 이곳은 카미노 바로 옆에 위치해 있습니다. 사과 과수원에 자리 잡은 이곳은 조용하고 아름답게 장식되어 있으며 원한다면 수영장도 있습니다(저는 그렇지 않았습니다). 합리적인 비용으로 미리 주문하면 멋진 저녁 식사를 만들어줍니다. 미리 주문하지 않아도 훌륭한 계란말이와 샐러드, 디저트를 만들어줄 수 있습니다. 그리고 카미노의 다음 마지막 단계를 마친 것을 축하하기 위해 살 수 있는 와인과 맥주가 있습니다. 아침 식사도 훌륭했습니다. 적극 권장합니다.

San Miguel de Castro is surprisingly well-supplied for pilgrims: just 100m after you cross the main road you'll see a little row of vending machines (coffee, beer, soft drinks and snacks). Consider nurturing that thirst, however, because about 400m farther on you'll spot FINCA ANDURINAS (through a gateway just up a lane on the right). In May 2024 a super-welcoming Galician woman called Pilar opened what might be the most idyllic donativo that you'll find anywhere in Spain. Be sure not to miss this lovingly restored old building with its spacious gardens. (The homemade lemonade will put wings on your heels!)
