The day I arrived was Wednesday. The restaurant couple across the street told me if the door was open. Then he drove away. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday The restaurant across the street is closed and the bakery is also closed. I solved my hunger all day with my emergency ramen. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had a microwave oven and a stove. But at 9 p.m., they sell beer at the same building corner. There are only peanuts, olives, and so on. But it was the best for thirst

Lovely clean and spacious albergue. Room for the bikes in a locked outdoor area. The day we arrived the person running it said to let ourselves in. She came in the evening to collect the money. Coffee and milk provided. Two large rooms with bunks in each. Two shower blocks. Kitchen and laundry facilities. Ten euro. No shop in town and the bar is closed for renovations. There was a great bakery that also had some basic supplies.

I had dinner in the restaurant Me Gusta Comer across from the Albergue . The food was outstanding and not expensive, I highly recommend it.

Very nice welcome and definitely the most superb peregrino menu since Sevilla. Very much worth calculating your trip to overnight in Rionegro.
The albergue is great as well . great stop on the way

The owner of the bar is a very unfriendly man. Don’t expect any service or a smile. The only thing they served were sandwiches which were really expensive (the other restaurant was closed unfortunately)

Just sitting down to a fabulous meal in "Me Gusta Comer" in Rio Negro del Puente. What a treat ! The chef showed me the wine bottle even before pouring it.
Galician music playing in the background.
Perfect treat on a miserable wet day.
