Two 5 star private rooms and then at least 10 albergue beds. First rate. Best on the Camino so far.

This is a very nice place with lovely accommodations. Private rooms as well!! Please update your site and include this awesome spot!! Be fair to the owners and update!!

There was a comment that there is a new albergue (that also has private rooms) a few months ago (this was confirmed by locals I spoke to) and this app was not updated? If I have seen the accommodation icon in this town of Vilar de Cas I would have stayed there to break the O'Codavo-Lugo instead of staying in Castroverde, which is just 9km from O'Codavo. Villar de Cas is a better break point. (Submitted: 23.6.19)

New albergue, and bar. Good reports. Excellent facilities including kitchen,washer, dryer, lounge room with open fire,bunks are individual with curtains, private rooms also available

In my 10 years of walking the camino this is without doubt the best I have ever seen. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that don’t have the style of this place. And the people here are fantastic.

I have never been to such a wonderful Albergue.
People with such wonderful big hearts.

Best Albergue on the camino! Home cooked food, vegetarian friendly, very friendly and helpful hosts, but most importantly the place has ATMOSPHERE. The dorm is the swankiest place I’ve ever stayed, they have a luxurious kitchen, rain showers with lovely pressure. The bar is cozy with heat lamps and a rustic feel. It’s all an old barn but tidied up really well. Walk the extra 5km from Castroverde. It’s worth it!
