카미노에서 벗어난 길목에 위치하며 표지판이 잘 설치되어 있다. 여정에 몇 미터를 더 추가하지만 조용한 마을에 시립 알베르게가 있습니다.

The worst of the worst hostels I've ever been to... mattresses on the floor, everything horrible. The manager, who is Portuguese, to my shame, yelled at everyone... I left an hour after arriving. The next day I came across pilgrims who told me they couldn't even sleep for fear. Zero rating... I think these owners are new and now the hostel is called Albergue da Portela.
It's horrible.

I had a picnic lunch with me which was just as well as the cafe was closed. Sat with feet in the refeshing water and rejuvenated while eating my lunch. I was almost the only one there at 11am on a Tuesday. Return to the Camino across the bridge and then between the houses. Cross the highway safely where the bus stop is near the garden centre.

Its not the newest Alberque but th one with the best charm and a lot of "charakter". Youre not a customer, youre a friend and a guest. This was the experience and vibe I was missing from my experience on the french camino. Amazing place!

The place is basic, but the atmosphere was fantastic. Hammocks in the garden were welcome after a 38 degree heat, the host, Elena, was kind, gracious but firm in the albergue expectations.
The food was delicious & great community spirit in conversation around both dinner & breakfast table.

A huge jug of sangria was made for dinner & fabulous relaxing chilled music to accompany the evening.

Helpful but tired of his job host yesterday. The place was v clean, well run, clean bed etc the communal meal a lovely idea but it was a watery terrible lentil and chorizo soup and bread and boiled eggs, with left over bread eggs and biscuits offered for breakfast

If you want to experience the true Camino, away from the frills of some newer more modern Albergue, give this one a try. Very basic accommodations from a warm and welcoming host (Jorge). He cooked a hot meal first all. One of the highlights of my Camino was sitting with all the other guest breaking bread. In most Albergues pilgrims scatter, here they gather and share. A great experience that should be enjoyed at least once on your Camino.

…but it may not be for everyone. I had a great time there, for what it’s worth. Nothing even approaching fancy about the place, but Jorge was a warm and welcoming host and made sure we all (both omnivores and vegetarians) got a warm and hearty supper on a cool, rainy evening. The place is small but has all the necessities. Because of all the rain and the pervasive humidity, the floor never did get dry that night/morning, but all us pilgrims passed a comfortable night and were uniformly happy we stayed there! I’d stay again!

A lovely place for tired pilgrims. The communal dinner was nice and it was a gathering of 28 people from 16 countries last night. If you prefer shiny and clean and modern set up, consider some place else. If you enjoy chatting with fellow pilgrims you will like here.

Stopped at this lovely albergue last night. Nothing fancy, but basics well covered. Doesn’t open till 3 and you’ll need to make a reservation. Shout out to Pedro the hospitalero who was magnificent, a quirky star of the Camino Portuguese.
There is a donativo communal evening meal and breakfast which he sorts single handed.
He was still finding mattresses for people who hadn’t reserved by 8 pm, turning no one away.
Great personality, over 30 eventually sitting down for a great dinner and 14 nationalities.
He is the best hospitalero on this Camino and yes, I include Fernanda at Casa Fernanda,
Well done Pedro
