4개의 알베르게와 많은 펜션이 있는 라바날 은 여행 중 흔히 들르는 (그리고 현명한) 중간 기착지입니다. 앞으로는 약간의 휴식이 필요한 높은 고갯길이 기다리고 있습니다.

작은 본당인 <이글레시아 데 산타 마리아>에서 매일 밤 7시에 수도사들이 베스페르를 부르고, 그 후에 순례자들을 위한 축도식이 열립니다.

카미노 덕분에 이 마을은 항상 번영을 누려왔으며, 최근 몇 년 동안 약간 보헤미안적인 분위기를 자아내고 있습니다.

History

카미노가 <아스토르가>를 떠나면서 지형은 더욱 험준해지고 (역사적으로 볼 때) 순례자의 위험은 증가합니다. 기사단원들이 이곳과 산 반대편에 있는 더 큰 마을인 폰페라다에 정착한 것도 바로 이런 이유 때문이에요.

The Road

카미노는 마을 초입에서 발견한 것과 같은 자갈길을 따라 마을을 떠나며, 교회를 지나게 됩니다. 도로를 따라 떠나지 않습니다.

겉보기에 아름다운 가게임에도 불구하고 명백히 순례자의 존재에 짜증을 내는 사람이 운영하고 있다는 것이 안타깝습니다. 가게에 겨우 2분 정도 있었을 때 그녀는 공격적으로 "정말 뭔가 사려고 하는 건가, 아니면 계속 둘러만 볼 건가?"라고 말했습니다. 저는 카드 최소 결제액 10유로를 충족하기 위해 뭔가 추가로 찾고 있다고 스페인어로 설명했고 그녀는 저를 기다릴 시간이 없다고 말했습니다. 그 말을 듣고 나는 작별을 고했습니다! 거리 위쪽의 tienda 같은 더 환영하는 곳으로 가서 물건을 사세요!

라바날에서 폰세바돈까지 하이킹하는 동안 우리는 수많은 초파리의 습격을 받았습니다. 그들은 우리 손, 선글라스 아래, 얼굴에 떼지어 앉아 있었습니다. 정말 끔찍했습니다! 우리가 무엇을 하든 상관없이 그들은 계속 우리 주위를 맴돌았습니다. 친구는 자신의 버프를 사용하여 가능한 한 최선을 다해 얼굴을 덮었습니다. 그것은 약간만 도움이 되었습니다.

라비나스는 매우 귀엽지만 폰세바돈으로 계속 가는 것을 두려워하지 마세요. 폰세바돈의 경치는 멋지고 알베르게는 훌륭합니다. 오르막길 이후의 멋진 분위기와 보상입니다. 이번 주 도로에 진흙이 많습니다.

Along ‘The Way’ you will encounter some extra special people and places. This is one of them. Kim’s little Stone Boat haven is heaven sent. A small, charming 3 room home, set in the charm of Rabanal del Camino, with the warmest, personal greeting and banana bread in the oven. Treat yourself!

The woman Alba sent more texts than anyone in the Camino. She said she had space them said to WhatsApp her and over the next 2 days I had a place didn’t have a place had a private place on the wrong day. She owns several of the albergues including indie where I thought I was staying she also owns the cute restaurant w pretty good food. I ended up sharing a simple twin room w shared bath. There were rooms to spare so I never figured out what all her stress was about. I’d suggest getting a solid prepaid booking here. It was a very long walk that day w crux de ferro ahead.

I was recommended this place from the Stone Boat, although I found it pricey and disappointing. Very basic, WiFi does not work, room small and cold with no blanket. They have a washing machine but no dryer so when I went to hang out my clothes to dry the owner had taken all the drying space with her family’s clothes. Owner is nice enough, but place not worth the cost.

I made the mistake of stopping at the first place and there are so many others! This is a lovely village with lovely restaurants, shops and bars. As a vegan I wish I had kept walking as the last Restaurant as you leave the village looks great :)

We purchased some eggs etc from the first store on the left entering the town . Opposite was an area set up called Green Garden that we thought was like a park to relax in . After we took our food back to the Albergue and had a wine , we took our books to the Green garden and didn’t realise it was set up by the grocery shop owner , who came over and basically started abusing us in Spanish . She indicated we were to buy more from her and we just got up and left . To be spoken to like that , for what was a misunderstanding is unacceptable behaviour from a business owner. She kept muttering to us as we departed even though we never responded to her . I would take my business to the other shop as when we went there later , she was very nice to her customers.

Not in the app, unless I’m mistaken, since this hotel has a kind man at the front desk and no bugs whatsoever. A nice choice right on the Camino. Private rooms, excellent salad and very accommodating. I’m glad for the good night’s rest.
