This was our second time staying at this albergue. Our first visit was in 2022, when many pilgrims were still hesitant to walk, and Ana welcomed us with open arms. A few days ago, we returned, and once again found everything we needed. It’s simple and basic, which is all we ask for.

The albergue is just 1 km from the Cathedral (many others are farther away), and both Gadis and Dia supermarkets are less than 100 meters. For us, it’s the perfect balance of location and simplicity. We’ll be happy to come back here again.

€25 is too expensive for this type of alburgue. Right on the Camino Francés, but 15 min walk to the cathedral. No noise curfew and people coming in at 4am. Laundry, kitchen and shower facilities are very basic. I only stayed here because it was the last place available.

The location is very good. On French, North and Primitive Caminos 1 km to the Cathedral. It is clean, full of windows. They had curtains so we have some privacity plus never a queue for showers, 6 or 7 showers for 24 pilgrims. They give a code so we can come in freely

This Albergue was a 15 minute walk away from the action. You also need to check in before 1 pm. Neither of these conditions are convenient.

This was by far the worst place we stayed on Camino. The noise went on until 1.30am, nothing was regulated, there were guests letting people in off the street, at almost midnight two men discussing that the bed one had been sold by the other was actually occupied by an unknown female. There was a guy sleeping in reception, possibly the concierge, but he did nothing to stop people making a racket and was actually making some strange noises in the ladies bathroom for about an hour around midnight, sounded like he was calling a dog. I know the albergue aren't responsible for ignorant people, but they should be managing the facility the whole time people are there. On our final night before catching an early flight this was sorely disappointing.
