Really clean and nice kitchen. The owner is very helpfull, and he offer to wash and det your clothes for a fair price. There are no supermarkets around, so remember to buy food before arriving. There’s a nice restaurant 1,3 kilometers away.

Pretty new albergue with super attentive and helpful host. Fast communication, good kitchen, terrace.
New and clean beds, sockets. Great choice if we mention lack of places to stay in the area.
10 minutes walk to Armenteira- not a problem
Price is a little high comparing to similar albergues, but services is good.
Problem for most people is that you have to provide your bank card details- we were charged in advance by providing it in whatsapp- not a great thing with safety of your data, ifyou can’t use one-time card for online purchases in your bank.

As mentioned when you try and reserve a bed, they will only do so when you whatsapp your card number and expiry date.
When I check in, there is a book displayed with everyone's name, phone number and credit card details. I could have sneakly taken a photo of this page!
At check-in, you need to pay using the card device.
What I did was whatsapp back a false card number. They do not check that you have supplied an invalid number. Just use the correct number of digits needed for a card.

The whole problem is that there is a shortage of beds in Armentier. Consequently, this Albergue can get away with this issue and charge a high rate of eur 25 for an average albergue experience.
Because of the card issue and the high bed price for what you get, I would not stay here again.
The Albergue has only been open 2 months

I tried to book this alburgue on WhatsApp, and I was asked to provide my credit card information over the message thread. I was not comfortable providing such sensitive information over the chat.

The person on WhatsApp refused the offer of a cash payment until I expressed interest in seeking accommodation elsewhere. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I couldn’t not get over how uneasy this interaction made me. Protect your sensitive information!
