Un bel soggiorno nei letti a castello di questo Albergue. Ho avuto sia la cena che la colazione e ho goduto del cibo e del tempo passato a incontrare altri pellegrini. I letti erano comodi e puliti e poiché non c'erano molte persone nei dormitori (hanno anche camere private), ci hanno distribuito bene, così abbiamo avuto molto spazio e privacy, il che è stato un gesto molto gentile. Consiglio volentieri questo Albergue.

Piccola sosta fantastica per ceveza con limón. Anche tapas, personale cordiale. Bellissima terrazza di fronte alla chiesa con cicogne che nidificano

È dopo il lungo tratto da Vilar de Mazariffe. Un giovane cameriere molto scortese, indifferente e dispregiativo. Sembrava non apprezzare i pellegrini occidentali. Ha alzato gli occhi al cielo di fronte al mio spagnolo, fingendo di non capire.

Ho appena preso un desayuno
Una porzione MINUSCOLA di pane tostato sottile e stantio
Troppo caro
Evitare.

Ho cercato di fare una prenotazione per giugno ma non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Alla fine li ho contattati e mi è stato detto che la data che volevo era un lunedì e che sono chiusi quel giorno per riposare.

Would not recommend. Cold, indifferent reception, and during the entire stay. Private rooms are tiny- just 2 single beds, no hooks anywhere in the Albergue to hang up wet jackets, trousers, etc. No common area to sit except outside. (In the rain). Dining room fireplace on all day so it was uncomfortably warm during dinner. Should have gone to Tio Pepe where pilgrim friends said they had a good stay.

The lady charged me €5.95 for a peach, two yogurts and a snack bag of cashews. Feel like I’ve been cheated.

Be aware it's a long straight road from Villar de Mazarife to Villavante, about 10km. No services, no water, no shelter. Bear in mind that Villavante is small, and there's not much there so the next place is O Hospital (plenty of options there for food and accommodation) which is maybe 4km further..

Very welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Local bar/restaurant used by pilgrims and locals. Great garden/back yard area for relaxing. Food surprisingly good and not just standard salat/chicken/ice-cream menu like any other albergue.

I’m staying in a private room at Tio Pepe and it’s a really nice place. My room is very comfortable, there is a lovely courtyard which is popular with pilgrims and locals, and the staff are very hard working and attentive. There are vegan and vegetarian options too. Plus the drinks are very reasonable. Definitely one of the better places I have stayed on the Camino

ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY TIME HERE!! Hosts were amazing and super friendly. The communal dinner was phenomenal as well. Cute small little place and very clean!
