Il cammino

Se volete schivarvi per un po’ la strada trafficata, tenetevi sulla sinistra all’inizio del paese e seguite le frecce attraverso il villaggio. Così facendo, vi risparmierete 500m della strada senza allungare minimamente il percorso.

All’entrata di Puente de Villarente è il ponte, e non il fiume, a rappresentare un pericolo per i pellegrini. Accertatevi di seguire le frecce prima del ponte stradale: vi dirigeranno verso uno stretto attraversamento pedonale, molto più sicuro.

Which is that small organic cafe mentioned earlier. The owner makes the GF bread and deserts and grows her veggies and fruits. She speaks good English and makes/sells jewelry as well.

Right before the large bar Casablanca you will see a small cafe with a sign “free rest area”.
This place is run by a woman who offers only organic, excellent, clean eating food.
Her coffee was great too.
And she was open at 8.
Highly recommend !!!

There is a sign for a bar that takes you into town. The center plaza with the yellow dots was worth it!

There is a small bar in the town with coffee machine, fresh of, fruit and pastries

There is a little cosy cafe in front of the church. Really nice. Good coffee and food. April 2022. It opens at 6.30. JK
