This is one of the most relaxing and serene stops on the Camino. Great rooms and the owner has done a wonderful job of creating a mini-oasis with an eclectic vibe around an old courtyard.

I happens to stumble across a new Albergue in the town. The owner was fantastic and incredibly enthusiastic. I wish I got to stay here! I’m sad to say I didn’t get the name…

This is paradise in the middle of nowhere! Fruits, bread, coffee, water, fresh juice - everything you need to reharge your body. And beyond that - some mattresses and hammocks to rest from ups and downs!

I was planning on sleeping outside on a mat when I perchance met Michael fetching water. He offered me a mattress and food and drink. All on a donation basis. He lives for pilgrims. It's a magical place. Please leave him a Google review. The Camino constantly surprises and delights.

La Casa de Los Dioses up on the plateau after those hills (up and down and up again) was so welcome! We came from Villar de Mazarife this morning and wow was the break here welcome. Be open to what the Camino and the universe provides and rest a bit before the hill down into San Justo de Vega!

Camino de Sant…

There is a stall half way between Santibanez and San Justo de Vega with a guy who has fresh fruit, tea, coffee, lemonade, juice, biscuits, chocolate and many other things. He is very kind, and everything is by donation. He said it is open year round as he lives here. He speaks English and Spanish and a little of other languages.
Word a stop by for a refreshing drink!
He also has a very beautiful stamp/cello.
