This boutique hotel is actually in Arzúa, not O Pedrouza, fyi.

I stopped in looking for something that offered food options that included anything that grew from the ground…meaning vegetables. I was overjoyed to find out that they offered several different salads and other traditional and non-traditional options that were delish and that were a welcome break from the traditional tortilla or ham sandwich. I had a mixed salad and the tacos. Good beer selection too! 10/10 would recommend.

For those inclined to seek out a mass, this church was beautiful, with a unique altar, a friendly and welcoming priest, and of course, a stamp at the end of the service.

Taste the Way was a welcome find-very fresh and a fun atmosphere with one big long table. Definitely recommend!

Taste the Way. Lovely selection here after traditional pilgrim menu del dia. My salad had fresh radish, watermelon, butter lettuce, sesame seeds, cherry tomatoe! It is on the right as you enter town just before the supermarket

Wow. If you have the budget try this place. Truly a unique boutique hotel.

I've managed to buy razors, face soap for sensitive skin, get a leg wax and have a lovely meal navigating it all in broken Spanish, but giving it a red hot go.

If you need a wax, Maria is a bit past the Dia supermarket on the same side. Looks like a salon only but they do waxing, too.

Can recommend the goat's cheese and salmon salad at Galaicos. Yummo! 😋

Lovely 3 room pension. Myriam is very welcoming and informative. Down the street is a restaurant that serves food all afternoon. “Taste the Way” the veggie lasagna and mixed salad restored my abused taste buds.

just keep walking. everyone in this town seems to hate pilgrims

Camino de Sant…

Sweet stay. Comfy, clean, plenty of hot water. Wood stove to sit by in the common room. Garden space for warm days. Cheery. Recommend!
