This is an amazing hotel, one of the best hotels along the Camino. Host Luis was very helpful and friendly, he welcome us with a smiling face and provided us with all the information including dining and supermarket. The hotel was very close to these important spots, within 10 minutes of walking distance.
To our surprise, Combarro was a tourist spot with many tourists, many historical spots to visit, bars and restaurants to sip a glass of cold drinks, enjoy a scoop of ice cream and a delicious dinner.
Although his cafe only open from 8:30am, he kindly invited our group of 3 at 8am into the Cafe and served hot coffee which was pur wake-up drinks. He strongly refused our payment, and insisted it was for our treat.
So we started our walk from Combarro to Burrantes just around the corner of the hotel with a smile.
I will definitely recommend thus hotel to my friends and other pilgrims if they choose to take this Variante Espiritual of Camino Portuguese.
