Sono arrivato esausto e affamato senza batteria. Anche se non stavo dormendo lì, mi hanno preparato cibo e mi hanno lasciato ricaricare la batteria (in più di un modo! Un vero rifugio

it was very low cost but exactly what i expected from albuerge. the staff is nice, they make really good and cheap food and even though it wasn’t fancy it was clean and nice.

Above a river with it's romantic bridge, this albergue is original in it's shape and place. Just below there's a restaurant hidden but yet crowded by customers, I don't know how they knew about it. 500 meters above there is a supermarket and another restaurant where I discovered that what we call pannini is called baguette... Little bit higher there's a big church where you can pray peacefully.
I strongly recommend this place for pilgrims who are searching for a peaceful end of a day.

Low cost accommodation. Quite small hostel so definitely book in advance as not many other options nearby. Nice quiet spot. River down the hill where you can soak tired feet!

We were there on a Sunday so only one of nearby restaurants open but food was fine and not too pricey. No shops or anything else nearby so this is only option.

Quite limited facilities but not that many pilgrims so we did not have any issues.

True pilgrim experience!

Tout est original dans cette auberge. L'emplacement, l'endroit, l'hospitalité et la présence sur le mur du dernier dîner du Christ, nous rappelant qu'on est sur le chemin de St Jacques.

It’s now a private albergue so you can call and book in advance !

I arrived when it was full but the lady from reception (who speaks English very well) helped me find a place to stay. She made all the calls for me and made sure I had the bed to sleep on that night, such an angel ! She even offered me the sofa in case we couldn’t find something.

Didn’t see the rooms nor the bathroom but just for the hospitality and the kindness, I would go there if I could.

This Albergue is a mixed bag. By the time you reach here ilyoir too tired to keep going and look for an alternative. It's OK for the money you pay 13 Euros for a bed.
Toilets are a bit awkward...hold and press tap/cold shower, 1 x toilet.
If this doesn't bother you, go ahead for hospitality of free tea/coffee and cookies and (occasionally) charming staff. Otherwise, plan another rest stop for the night.

We messaged ahead to book a private room for 2. The info above says EU 46 but when we got there they told us it was per person. They kept pushing us to the dorm for 13 EU.
-we ended up on bunks in the hallway
- the walls are only partitions that don't go up to the ceiling so everyone hears everyone
- hall light is motion sensored so at night everyone gets light if someone needs to get up
- no windows in Bunk areas
- gross disposable sheet/pillow case
- one toilet/sink for women and one for men to 20+ bunks
- one pilgrim commented it was like a prison
- cold showers only and you have to hold the button pressed like a gas station sink to get water
- above says group dinner - nope - bring food as there is nothing close

We were at the end of a long day so too tired to move on.
Highly recommend you make a better plan.
