Manu was lovely and welcoming. The albergue was nice and exceptionally clean. Small but functional kitchen was appreciated, as well as the covered drying area for clothes. No plugs near beds, which was the only negative.

Ah Manu quietly spoken, warm hearted and welcoming. He showed me the bathtub and provided bath salts and it was sublime after hundreds of kilometres walking. The kitchen is great, the beds comfy and a great under cover area to hang washing to dry. Manu allowed me to check out late so even better. This is the true spirit of the Camino, the kindness and generosity hard to beat.

This is a lovely albergue run by somebody that truly cares for the pilgrims passing through. If you get there before it's busy, there is even a bathtub you can soak in! (I found bath salts at the supermarket nearby). There is an indoor area to hang clothes to dry with a greenhouse-type roof that lets in heat and light but keeps off rain.
The hospitalero gave people options when they checked in, like "this room has less people but only has top bunks available."
The common area downstairs is lovely and scented with incense.

Fantastic place. It is open despite what Buen Camino app says! Manu js a saint and the albergue a little treasure trove of lovely things and community. Decent shop in town and good if small kitchen.

Many is a wonderful host. So helpful and such an interesting history attached to the albergue. So wonderful to be able to stay in albergues that are so historic. The food in Triacastela Complexo Xacabeo is fabulous!

Unbeatable for the price. Great, quiet location. Incredibly attentive, kind, caring father and son-I -law run this mini-museum with beds and a kitchen. Near all the stuff you need. Second time here. Highly recommended

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Very clean and organized. Manu the hospitalero is very nice. The dining room reception area has lots of memorabilia from and old Basque church. 2 mins walk to restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a pharmacy.

Camino de Sant…

This was a very enjoyable stay, there is a piano which made it a top spot for myself. The owners son-in-law is very enjoyable and we had great conversation. They care a lot about the guests that are respectable. Compared to the other stops in town I would have to say it’s a must.

Camino de Sant…

Manu and his father in law were very helpful. Manu is the kindest person I have met running an alburgue. He genuinely cares for the pilgrims staying in his alburgue.
Bathrooms kept very clean.
