What a treat to stay here at Albergue Camino Frances. A welcome sign at the door with my name on it, and the sisters who own are so lovely and caring of pilgrims. Very clean rooms and shower/bathroom. Such a wonderful stay “off stage”. I just absolutely loved my time here - would definitely stay again! 💜

Goreti is one of the best hosts on the Camino. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
Would recommend this as one of the best Alburgues!

After a hot day walking it was such a pleasure to arrive at the Alburgue Camino Frances. You know someone is expecting you when your name is on the welcome board out front.

Maria was so incredibly welcoming and friendly!! We had riden from León in a headwind and our batteries needed charging. Maria was so helpful, welcomed us in, made delicious coffees and chatted to us (in English).

This is a wonderful albergue. Stayed in a lovely private room. Very comfortable and clean and hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. Enjoyed my veggie lasagna for dinner in their comfortable outdoor courtyard area. I highly recommend this albergue.

Goretti and her sister Ruth are the "definition" of a great Albergue host! Always smiling, always willing to make you feel at home, always energetic! Goretti has been called to this business and it shows on everything she does. A perfect example: Goretti was so kind to my wife and I during our stay at Alburgue Camino Frances! Neither of us were feeling well and she did everything to make our stay comfortable. She even brought hot tea to our room before bedtime! The alburge was spotless, the food was great, and the views east from the top floor were great in the early morning! We highly recommend staying here!
