I arrived late after a long day… and the reception staff told me they were full initially. A kind member of the staff reminded reception that they’d opened a new private room that same day, which they offered to me at half discount, given the late hour. While I can’t comment on the shared dorms, I can say the staff were very friendly and accommodating! For that reason alone, I’d recommend this albergue to anyone passing through Hospital de Órbigo.

Beds are hard and old. Springs or something looks it kept poking me all night. Shower only had tepid water that you had to keep pressing every 15 seconds to stay on

The private room was actually a set of bunk beds. No sheets- just paper cover. Towel was old and thin. Bathroom was shared with everyone on the floor and down the hall. Room was cold with no heat. Not a choice I would pick again.

The place is beautiful, and is decorated with Pilgrim made art work. They don't serve dinner, the breakfast was fruit, bread, coffee and a pastry.

I had the best laundry service in the Camino so far.
Wash and dry for €8 and they did themselves and returned everything folded! Amazing!

Lovey place, friendly hosts, great terrace and kitchen and art. We stayed in the 4 bed dorm and it was way too hot and not very ventilated. Avoid during hot season. 18 bed dorm has a couple of big windows and much cooler.

I was greeted by Arturo in a calm & welcoming manner as he welcomed me inside from the rain storm outside. This is a lovely place with all you need. It’s a very calm environment & lights go out at 10pm and are turned on at 6am. Arturo & his wife are so sweet & I loved being there. It’s very clean and comfortable.

The hosts go out of their way to provide comfort and tranquility. Relaxing music plays and their is beautiful pilgrim artwork everywhere- and you can create and leave a piece yourself. Cozy and right at the edge of town!
