If you see the Neanderthal man, stop, go inside and get food!!! Best bacon and eggs, rice pudding, cheesecake… and simply lovely place to sit!!!

We had a booking at Albergue Fillobal which we made through booking.com. when we got there, it was all taped up. Even booking.com had comfitm it and also taken payment. Beware of booking.com

This is a very nice allergue, run by a very nice couple. The bathroom seems to have a mold problem, for it smells, but the dorms are comfortable. The only place to eat is the bar next door, run again by a very nice couple making very good lasagna among other things. They both have a beautiful terrace and view. There doesn’t seem to be much else to do there but it’s enough.

Camino de Sant…

Beautiful, clean and modern albergue. Nice rooms and bunks with big warm blankets.
Washer and dryer 3/1 €. Two showers for 22 beds with strong spray and good hot water.
Very nice restaurant/bar directly across the street, or cook your own in compact kitchen.

Camino de Sant…

Fabulous, small, modern, clean albergue with beautiful terrace, garden, hammocks and stunning views of the surrounding fields and mountains. The Hospitalera (Yolanda) was so helpful, easy-going and welcoming, it was a gift of the Camino to stay here.
Lovely, simple dining area; use of the microwave and fridge; washing machine (3€) and, if you want to eat out, great café/bar opposite. It serves teas, coffees, alcohol, cakes, raciones and good Pilgrim Menu. Also opens at 7am and serves lovely breakfast with perfect Spanish tostadas. Stayed here August 2021.

Camino de Sant…

Unfortunately, the albergue is closed. Today is the 15th of October. Next place to sleep is in Triacastela…
