There is a bit of noise from the central courtyard and bar below rooms but it didn’t bother me.

The woman running this place is a dynamo and serves good food. Very good value and a welcoming atmosphere

Not many choices here after a long day. My room was on the third floor so no internet. Clean and private bathroom for approx 50 euro room. If you have the power go to the next village. There seemed to be two nice Alburgues there. That being said the dinner was great with many choices.

Lively spot, dinner was very good with vegetables on the menu. Room was fine, staff very friendly. Overall a lovely spot but if you do laundry check your stuff. Owner tried to keep my Bruce Springsteen shirt. If he has offered a trade I would have done it but he didn't return it and held it behind his desk until I asked for it.

Hostal Camino Real was a nice place to stop in the tiny village of Calzadilla de la Cueza. Room and bathroom fine. Busy, friendly foyer and bar. Dinner was excellent, with a good range of options, each very well prepared. Recommended

Camino de Sant…

Not very clean and lots of fleas. The host is annoyingly friendly. Stay away. Fox.

Camino de Sant…

After some long straights on the Meseta with no shade this was a welcome sight. Clean, I found owner to be physically offensive (bit groupie) the meal was one of best in Camino ( up in the best 5 of Camino) we had a twin room which was fine. You could go to the Albergue down the road as both owned by same owner and swim in pool.
