Sono così contento di aver camminato alcuni chilometri in più da Melide dove molte persone da Palas de Rei si fermavano per una tappa breve. Margarita è calorosa e accogliente, c'è una lavanderia automatica in loco e servono un lovely menu da pellegrino

The rooms are big but there were only 4 people in ours. They have AC and locker boxes. The bar serves a noce pilgrims menu for 15€ - a good deal. There is also a semi-outdoors patio and a swimming pool but we didn't use those because of the rain.

I agree with all the praise below, the bunk bed room seemed to have AC, so the windows were closed, no noise. A very pleasant place!

I was genuinely sad that I couldn’t take the pillow home with me. So comfortable. Everything you need, but there isn’t a grocery store in town, so if you want snacks, get those in Melide before you arrive.

This albergue was great. The host and hostess were accommodating, the on-premise food (which was delicious) and bar were a welcome relief after a long day. The pool was great for our tired feet and laundry always a plus. We had a room for four with private bath. The only negative would be the proximity to the main road. Listened to high speed 18-wheelers all night long. But that said, we would stay here again!!

Blankets are free, Wi-Fi is free and the bottle of wine with our excellent dinner was given free also. When I couldn't get a reservation for the next day, the manager got one for me.

The albergue's photo here is not correct . And because it is one of the last ones through town, I think it should usually have extra beds.

This is the albergue.you dream of. Two areas for your drinks & tapas, beds with sheet and lockers and power plugs, washing machines, community breakfast and dinner, attentive staff and, ,, a clean cool swimming pool with chases and umbrellas. All for just 15 euros.

To get there you have to keep walking through town, it is across from the church.

Sylvia took great care to make sure we had everything we needed, and the downstairs bar staff made us feel welcome, too. Beds and lockers were substantial; food was decent. Clean and well-appointed.
