We were warmly welcomed by a priest with water and a hard candy. The beds were comfortable and we only had 3 bunk beds in our room with our own bathroom. The facility was clean, the courtyard lovely to dry clothes. It is part of a monastery with that spiritual aura. The mass and pilgrim blessing were lovely even if you are not Catholic. A must-stay in Sahagún!

This was a lovely experience, one I don't think enough of the pilgrims that night enjoyed. The priests were very welcoming, although there was a lot of information on one go. The mass and blessings were very special, and the shared dinner with some of the other pilgrims and priests was very cool. Would highly recommended staying here, and participating in all their activities!

Excellent welcome! Everything was explained well.. Comfortable room and the shower is so good! We had a double room which was really nice. Very clean.
Communal donotivo dinner.
Pilgrims mass at 6.30 pm and a pilgrims blessing at 7 pm which was very moving.
Thank you for a restful night!

This is a must stay on the Camiño. Warm welcoming greetings, lovely rooms with only 2 bunks per room and a private toilet and shower/ bath. The priests and hosts are great and the communal dinner was so lovely and charming. A great donativo breakfast is also served.

There is *no shared meal on Sunday evenings*, however the pilgrim kitchen is always available to cook food. From Monday to Saturday there is a large supermarket open just 150m away 0930 to 2100 (not closed in the afternoon). On Sundays there is an independent food shop Asturcom open in the morning until 1400 and again from 1700 to around 1930, located just on the right as you enter Sahagún after the railway bridge.

Lovely alburgue with optional “pilgrims’ coffee”, mass, pilgrim blessing and communal meal. Run by a group of priests from around the world genuinely committed to hospitality - just a wonderful place to rest. (And the showers and beds are great.)

A treasure of the Camino. Although there's room for many to stay you are spread around the building so the numbers feel less. The welcome is kind and detailed and the building is spacious. For those that want there is a meeting at 5 to share feelings about the camino experience. At 6.30 there is mass followed by a separate pilgrim blessing at 7. A shared meal is available at 8. Donativo breakfast available from early. English is the primary language.

I’ve stayed at the albergue 3/16 on a whim and turned out to be the best 5 eu I ever spent. The place was sparkling clean and padre Toño welcoming beyond believe! Recommend having coffee with them for deep discussion or just chewing the fat.
